Crafted by Torres was founded by Elysa Torres, a passionate and detail-oriented Business Administration and Accounting double major at the University of Texas at Dallas, currently pursuing her MBA. With a strong academic foundation and diverse hands-on experience, Elysa created Crafted by Torres to offer tailored, high-quality services in tax preparation, career development, and creative business solutions.

Elysa’s professional journey is grounded in real-world experience. As a staff accountant at Nancy K. Phillips, PC, she gained practical knowledge preparing federal, state, and business tax returns using advanced tax software. Her prior role as a tax preparer deepened her understanding of compliance and client-focused service.

In addition to her tax background, Elysa has contributed to several marketing and advertising projects - developing impactful campaigns, designing digital and print advertisements, and managing social media strategies that helped small businesses grow and connect with their audiences.

Elysa also brings hands-on experience in resume review and hiring support. Having assisted with managerial-level candidate evaluations, she knows what hiring teams look for and uses that insight to help clients craft standout resumes and cover letters tailored for leadership and professional advancement.
